Jerry Uelsmann and Maggie Taylor have made distinguished careers out of manipulating images: he's an old-school darkroom guy, while she's embraced the computer. For this challenge, they provided ten images for you to remix into an original composition.

This is mainly one of my pieces that I added a couple of the remixes to. It's a little on the creepy side.

Thought this was a fun challenge, I used one of my painted backgrounds and added a few of your images. I really like the image of the woman, but the color was wrong, so I made her dress blue. I like the crow, so 2 were better in the tree, there is a mystery surrounding it. The greek head is one of my favorite images. This just all seemed to come together. It was very fun to play with in photoshop.

Meditating on the images over the last few days led me to realize how Euro-centric they felt. I went searching for another girl in a white dress (found here: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CcoXdksLQEA/UBy1p16HHeI/AAAAAAAABJ4/n-n2wxWQWvo/s1600/22270923490d5cdd9ba0ja8.jpg).
It feels terribly functionalist to say it, but I think this image is about the fear of whites not being in the majority anymore, but also about how beautiful such a world would be.

In this composition, I included the elements of the butterfly, black bird, guitar, face statue, leaves, and the path

Vintage air travel emerged as a theme for this one.
