HOW TO ENTER: No purchase or pledge necessary.  Entries may be made by:

• calling the WNYC pledge lines at 1-888-376-9692, or going to WNYC.org from 12:00 am Monday, October 19, 2015 through midnight Sunday, October 25, 2015 Eastern Standard Time
• going to onthemedia.org or radiolab.org anytime between 12:00 am Monday, October 19, 2015 and midnight Sunday, October 25, 2015
• making a pledge or contest entry via the October 2015 Radiolab and On The Media eblasts

WNYC, WQXR, and New Jersey Public Radio Monthly Sustainers are automatically entered into the giveaway.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: One winner and three back up names will be selected by random drawing no later than Friday, November 20th, 2015. Winner will be notified by telephone or mail.  If the winner can’t be reached or is unable to collect their prize, the unawarded prize will go to the first back-up and subsequent back-ups thereof until prize is awarded.  Winner must provide their social security number. Arrangements for bike delivery will be made after the winner is chosen. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of entries. A list with the winner’s name will be kept on file at New York Public Radio and is available by writing WNYC Listener Services, 160 Varick Street, New York, NY 10013.

GENERAL: By participating in October 2015 Linus Bike Giveaway, participants agree to these Official Rules, and that New York Public Radio, its agents and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from their use of the prize or their participation in the give-away. Prize is nontransferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. There can be no substitutions for a prize. New York Public Radio may use winner’s name for publicity purposes without further compensation.  Taxes and expenses as a result of winning this prize are the responsibility of the winner. Winner will receive a 1099 with the above stated value and this amount will be reported to the IRS.

RESTRICTIONS:  Restrictions may apply. By participating in the October 2015 Linus Bike Giveaway, a participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions of the contest judges. One entry per person.  Anyone who enters multiple times will be disqualified.
