NYC Digital Waves Youth Media Festival is a youth media festival that brings together teenagers, media professionals, students, and educators to learn from and teach one another. This annual festival celebrates youth media, showcases amazing work, and creates a space to share ideas, create, connect, and be inspired.

The Digital Waves Festival is filled with interactive learning experiences through workshops and creating media mentored by peers or professionals in the industry.  The festival also hosts panel discussions and keynotes with leaders in an ever-evolving field. The day ends with a live media slam filled with adrenalin and fun!  Be on the look out for details about the 2014 Digital Waves Festival….

Till Next Year ... NYC Digital Waves Youth Media Festival

After months of preparation for the NYC Digital Waves Youth Media Festival, it finally arrived on Saturday July 30th - as it quickly came it also quickly passed. I miss the festival already. But maybe it was part of the appeal so we would hunger more for next year! Even as someone who planned this event I didn't feel like, "finally it's done now move on," (maybe a tiny bit), but I want more.
