NO! Totally overpriced, like everything in NYC. I would normally blame this partially on the rent, but does that apply to a sidewalk on the corner of 84th and Broadway? I know the people selling them freeze outside and sleep in nearby vans. I have no idea how they wash.

Yes, it is a fair price. The tree farm is well managed and there is hardly a bad one to choose. The tree is cut fresh so will last longer past Christmas. The price includes bundling for transport, shaking excess needles off with a machine and they drill a hole in the bottom for placing in the stand.

Yes we paid a fair price. We always get a very well cared for tree from AK Mill and Feed. We also tip the man who helps us $10. The tree we bought was probably grown in WA or OR and it had to be shipped up here on a barge. Once it gets to AK Mill and Feed they keep the trees inside, it's cold here in AK, and they water them; this is why they last a long time.
