Master of suspense Wes Craven has been orchestrating horror for more than four decades. Now, you have an opportunity to get a little payback.
We want you to create a super-short horror movie 30 seconds or less on the theme of "young genius." Craven will announce a winner on the show.
The deadline to be considered for our challenge is 11:59pm ET March 2, 2014.
UPDATE: The winner of our contest is Jake Jarvi for his film ...Jake.

“I was really impressed and entertained by all that I saw,” says our judge.
Thanks to everyone who shared their work with us!

Un Chien Contemporain represents three things. First, it is a social comment on the desensitization of violence to the point where it seems almost ordinary.
Next, the film is an homage to the artistic giants and mad scientists who helped shape visual storytelling - in this case, Buñuel and Dali specifically.
And finally, it is a wink at my three siblings, some of whom acted in my first few projects. We grew up watching scary movies ranging from classic monsters to B-horror flicks.
(So for those who don't care for the story, there's luckily three other influences to help shoulder the blame!)

Jinnee
Jinnee has been something special since the day she was born, but now some of her supernatural. hidden talents are revealing themselves in progressively less subtle ways. Her father, his friend and child psychologist Dr. Judy Brent, and a colleague of sorts, para-psychologist Edgar Usher are trying to illuminate the mysterious abilities of this seemingly innocent, yet possibly possessed, young phenom.
