that i'm a night owl, no matter how hard i try to turn in earlier. i don't worry about it if i can compensate a bit more in the morning.

I decided to turn off my alarm clock (in spite of all of the experts who say to get up at the same time every day) for a week or so to see when I "naturally" wake up and whether allowing that results in more or better sleep.

Yes, in another way

I'm now aware of what I'm doing that prevents me from getting rest when I sleep (Caffeine & eating too late) &my sleep has been more restful.

:

I thought I was getting 8 hours of sleep because I try to get to bed by 10:30 & rise by 6:45.
After clocking my sleep I discovered I'm really going to sleep much later than I thought & only averaging 6.6 hrs of sleep per night.

Yes, I've switched to herbal teas in the evening instead of coffee & black/green tea & I'm eating dinner earlier.
