'The Retrievals' Shows How Women's Pain Was Ignored at a Yale Fertility Clinic

Many women who experienced an egg retrieval at the Yale Fertility Clinic reported excruciating pain, as if they had not been given any pain medication at all. Nurses and doctors insisted that all was fine, but it later was revealed that a nurse at the clinic had been replacing fentanyl with saline solution.
