Was the Facebook Donation a Boon or a Burden for Newark Schools?
Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, Newark schools superintendent Chris Cerf and the reporter Dale Russakoff got together yesterday to publicly take stock of the $100 million gift from Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg to Newark's schools.
Nancy Solomon, managing editor of New Jersey Public Radio, and WNYC host Jami Floyd  recap an event where all three spoke about whether the money was ultimately a boon or a burden for the struggling schools.
