Di Fara's new shop constructs sandwiches with extreme care

Brooklyn's Di Fara Pizza has been crafting some of the city's best pies since 1965. This month, they opened a new sandwich shop called 1012 Kitchen - named for its address at 1012 East 15th Street in Midwood.

Robert Sietsema, Senior Critic at Eater New York, says don't expect a quick bite - because the kitchen's sandwiches are constructed with extreme care. He's been sampling their offerings to see if they live up to the Di Fara name. Speaking with WNYC's David Furst, he brings us the delicious details.
