Together with new music heavyweight/adventure cellist Maya Beiser, the versatile composer/percussionist Payton MacDonald (Alarm Will Sound, Super Marimba), and the composer Michael Harrison on just-intonation piano, the new work is intended to invoke a sense of pilgrimage.
