Megan Ryan

Megan Ryan is the executive producer of WNYC’s Peabody Award-winning program The Brian Lehrer Show. Ryan oversees day to day operations, which includes directing the live show, planning the next day’s program, and staying abreast of all things from mayoral races to storm systems to the whereabouts of the hipsters.

Before life on the daily talk show, she exercised her master’s degree in Media Studies as an associate producer for On The Media. Prior to that, in a brief period between college and public radio, she actually made a living freelancing at magazines and in theater and film. It was the 90’s.

Megan grew up in New Jersey, went to Rutgers College, and still spends weekends down the shore. If not there, you can find her parading around the Brooklyn parks with her husband and pre-school-aged daughter.
