America's largest documentary festival hits New York City this week

DOC NYC kicks off on Wednesday, Nov. 13. It's the country's largest documentary festival, and over the course of 9 days it will showcase over 200 films in Manhattan at the Village East Cinema, IFC Center, and SVA Theatre. The festival’s co-founders are Thom Powers and Raphaela Neihausen who also host WNYC’s Documentary of the Week. Thom joins Weekend Edition host David Furst for a preview.
