WQXR personalities, including Naomi Lewin, Terrance McKnight and Midge Woolsey, will be joined by WNYC hosts and reporters including Robert Krulwich, Brian Lehrer, Bob Hennelly and Arun Venugopal in a version re-imagined for stage by award-winning playwright Arthur Yorinks.

Stage and screen actor Brian Cox will star in the role of Ebenezer Scrooge.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL will be directed by WQXR host Elliott Forrest and the crew includes A Prairie Home Companion’s touring foley artist Fred Newman, who will shape the audio atmosphere of the production, and award-winning songwriter and composer John Forster (Into the Light, A Good Swift Kick) on the piano.
