The world wasn’t ready for the New York Dolls in the 1970s, with their down and dirty, cross-dressing brand of proto-punk. The surviving Dolls, including frontman David Johansen and guitarist Sylvain Sylvain, are back with a new album called "Dancing Backward in High Heels," and they’ll play live for us.
