Jocelyn Frank

Jocelyn Frank focuses on the ways that personal stories can connect cultures near and far. She's produced and reported internationally for National Public Radio and BBC Radio 4, among other outlets, and helped to develop and launch the successful UK-facing BBC Radio program Americana.

Frank is a managing facilitator of the D.C. Listening Lounge — a collective of audio artists and enthusiasts who meet monthly to share work, curate installations and lead workshops for artists and scholars across the Washington D.C. region.

She is the recent recipient of an Awesome Foundation grant to help fund the creation of a Sound Garden to enhance an under-appreciated area of the District of Columbia through sound.
