Emma Wagner

Senior Digital Content Manager

Emma is a digital marketer who specializes in the performing arts and classical music. She received a degree in Marketing Communications from Emerson College in Boston, MA and a minor in music supplemented by courses at Berklee College of Music. While in school, Emma held internships at a variety of arts institutions including The Kennedy Center and Playbill.

Her career started in the marketing department of the Metropolitan Opera with a focus in social media content creation, e-marketing production and digital performance analysis. Before joining the WQXR team, she worked for NYC digital-first ad agency Situation Interactive as a Project Manager for multiple Broadway clients including Tina Fey’s Mean Girls and Roundabout Theatre Company. 

In her personal musical endeavors, she has had the privilege of performing at Carnegie Hall and Madison Square Garden as a soprano with the New York Choral Society, and currently sings with the Young New Yorkers' Chorus Treble Ensemble.
