When the Portland, Oregon-based band Blind Pilot released its first album in 2008, the group consisted of two members who bicycled their way through a west coast tour. Their second album, called We Are The Tide, features a larger ensemble with instruments that won’t exactly fit on the back of a two-wheeler - like the upright bass and vibraphone. The six-piece band hops off their big blue tour bus to perform live in our studio.
