I agree with the places of international comity--the ESL class--etc., but I would also take them to Brownsville, to observe a stop-and-frisk, to Rikers ... In other words, to places that would demonstrate US hypocrisy so that a *real* international debate can be had over how to develop international peace on a more egalitarian level--not holding up the US as a paragon that it in many ways it fails.
