HOW TO ENTER: No purchase or pledge necessary. Entries may be made by calling the WNYC or WQXR pledge lines, or going to WNYC.org OR WQXR.org between the hours of 4:00pm Monday, May 12, 2014 and 12:00pm on Thursday, May 15, 2014 Eastern Standard Time. QCard cardholders, May and April 2014 e-renewals respondents, and WNYC, WQXR, and New Jersey Public Radio Monthly Sustainers are automatically entered into the giveaway.
ELIGIBILITY: Anyone 18 years of age or older can enter the May 2014 WNYC $4000 Tekserve Gift Certificate Giveaway except employees of New York Public Radio and its related organizations, their immediate family or persons living in the same household. Void where prohibited by law.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: One winner and three back up names will be selected by random drawing no later than June 20, 2014. Winner will be notified by telephone or mail. If the winner cannot be reached or is unable to collect their prize, the unawarded prize will go to the first back-up and subsequent back-ups thereof until prize is awarded. Winner must provide their social security number. Prize will be shipped by mail. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of entries. A list with the winner’s name will be kept on file at New York Public Radio and is available by writing WNYC Listener Services, 160 Varick Street, New York, NY 10013.
GENERAL: By participating in the May 2014 WNYC $4000 Tekserve Gift Certificate Giveaway, participants agree that New York Public Radio, its agents and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from their use of the prize or their participation in the give-away. Prize is nontransferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. There can be no substitutions for a prize. New York Public Radio may use winner’s name for publicity purposes without further compensation. Taxes and expenses as a result of winning this prize are the responsibility of the winner. Winner will receive a 1099 with the above stated value and this amount will be reported to the IRS.
RESTRICTIONS: Restrictions may apply. By participating in the May 2014 WNYC $4000 Tekserve Gift Certificate Giveaway, a participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions of the contest judges. One entry per person. Anyone who enters multiple times will be disqualified.
