Young People’s Chorus Of New York at High Line Nine: AloneTogether

The award-winning, globetrotting Young People’s Chorus Of New York has a multimedia installation running at the gallery High Line Nine in Chelsea. It’s called AloneTogether, and it looks at the impact of the pandemic on the chorus’s young singers. And it occasionally includes live music. Composer Michael Gordon has written a new piece for the YPC, which they’ll premiere Wed. night, Dec. 8. Plus, cellist Maya Beiser will play Gordon’s piece called “All Vows.”

Michael Gordon and Maya Beiser both join the Young People’s Chorus of New York and director Francisco Nunez for a live performance at High Line Nine as part of their installation AloneTogether, which runs through December 19. Free but registration is required.
