This year's can't miss films at DOC NYC

The documentary film festival DOC NYC is underway and runs through November 26th and will feature hundreds of films.

And the festival often screens documentaries that go on to show up during award season.

Thom Powers is the festival's co-founder and Director of Special Project and co-host of WNYC's Documentary of the Week. He joins WNYC Morning Edition host Michael Hill to tell us what we can't miss this year.
