He also reviews the programs Just Music, Nights in Latin America, and Cocktail Time with Duncan Purnie who recalls earlier days at WQXR. Sherman talks with Douglas A. MacKinnon, WQXR's first program director and musical commentator who came to W2XR in December 1935. We hear from Lily Pons and Andre Kostelanetz on Gilbert Hyatt's literature program on haiku.
