WNYC’s New Saturday Evening Schedule Starts March 29

Starting March 29, 2025 we’ll be adding three new programs to our Saturday evening schedule on WNYC-AM, -FM and NJPR.

The final episode of New Standards with Paul Cavalconte on WNYC was Saturday, March 22. You can follow Paul's show and the New Standards stream to public radio station WBGO, where they will relaunch in late April.


Latino USA - 8 p.m.

Latino USA chronicles how Latinos are living, shaping and changing America, with in-depth reporting and candid conversations. Hosted by Maria Hinojosa and celebrating its 30th Anniversary in 2023, Latino USA is the longest running Latino-focused program on U.S. public media, elevating the voices of historically marginalized communities through authentic storytelling.


Bullseye with Jesse Thorn - 9 p.m.

Bullseye is a celebration of the best of arts and culture in public radio form. Host Jesse Thorn sifts the wheat from the chaff to bring you in-depth interviews with the most revered and revolutionary minds in our culture. Bullseye has been featured in Time, The New York Times, GQ and McSweeney's, which called it "the kind of show people listen to in a more perfect world."


Live Wire with Luke Burbank - 10 p.m.

An independently produced program from Portland, Oregon, Live Wire artfully blends unpredictable conversation, live music and original comedy featuring all types of cultural talent and creative minds, from emerging artists to established acts. The show cultivates joy, discovery and connection by amplifying unexpected and riveting voices.
