Paying With Your Life

The Leonard Lopate Show | Sep 14, 2015

Rachel Moran came from a troubled family background. She was taken into state custody at age fourteen, and by the time she was fifteen, she was homeless and involved in prostitution. For the next seven years Rachel worked as a prostitute, isolated, drug-addicted, outside of society. In Paid For: My Journey Through Prostitution, she shares her experiences of violence, loneliness, exploitation, abuse, and eventually escaping that life at age 22.

EVENT: On Tuesday, September 22nd, Rachel Moran will be at the Irish Arts Center (IAC) at 7:30 pm.
