What Does Expungement Mean Exactly In The New Marijuana Laws For New York?

The legalization laws for recreational marijuana also clears the criminal records of people with certain-cannabis related offenses. But for people on parole or individuals going through a federal immigration process the automatic expungements may impact them differently. WNYC's Sean Carlson spoke with Legal Aid attorney, Emma Goodman.
