Be it Frightful or Delightful, Here's How the Weather Affects Four New Yorkers
The weather affects just about everyone on a daily basis. For some, knowing whether to grab an umbrella or shed a layer is enough. But for a lot of people, the weather can actually dictate how the work day will go -- and even how they make a living.
WNYC brings you the daily forecast and conditions, but we wanted to know how the weather directly affects your work day. We asked you to send us your stories -- and we're still looking for more. Tell us how the weather affects your job using the form at the bottom of this page.
Here are four folks who answered our call.
New Yorkers: Do you have a job that's affected by the weather? Do you reach for a weather app or poke your head outside first thing each morning, wondering if you'll need to pack a poncho or lather on some SPF 50? Does lightning spell trouble? WNYC wants you.
We're looking for people to help us cover the weather in a way that goes beyond degrees and gets to the practical side of how weather affects every aspect of our lives. Sign up below, and you could wind up chatting about the weather with Soterios Johnson on Morning Edition.
