A Fresh Look At The Life & Politics Of Vladimir Lenin

The Leonard Lopate Show | Nov 13, 2017

Victor Sebestyen joins us to discuss his new book Lenin: The Man, the Dictator, and the Master of Terror. In the first major biography in English about Vladimir Lenin in almost 20 years, Sebestyen examines his politics and personal life, and creates a portrait of a revolutionary who became a ruthless dictator. He draws from Lenin’s personal papers and those of other leading political figures to provide new details about how Lenin seized power, built his revolutionary state and created Stalin.

Victor Sebestyen will appear at Book Culture (450 Columbus Avenue, at 82nd St.) on Nov. 14 at 7 p.m.
