New York Times correspondent Nicholas Kulish investigated abuse allegations against three Navy SEALs stationed near Kalach, Afghanistan. The SEALs allegedly beat and tortured bound Afghan detainees so badly that one of the men died his injuries. Kulish's article, “Navy SEALs, a Beating Death and Claims of a Cover-Up,” examines the alleged cover-up that followed the beatings.
