UK Prepares to Vote in the Midst of Terror

The Brian Lehrer Show | Jun 7, 2017

Christopher Dickey, foreign editor of The Daily Beast, discusses the recent terror attacks in Paris and London, and how the attacks might affect the outcome of the U.K. general election on Thursday. In terms of her approval rating, Dickey says "it doesn't look good for Theresa May." But she will probably still win the election.

In the aftermath of the various attacks across Europe, the approach to curtailing those acts from happening again has changed. "Bit by bit, it's getting harder for the terrorists to do what they did before... People are safer than they were before," Dickey says. Plus, he breaks down ISIS and the state of the Middle East.
