Toronto Symphony Orchestra plays Samy Moussa at Carnegie Hall

As both a composer and conductor, Samy Moussa has had success on two continents. Born in Montreal and based in Berlin, Moussa has written a pair of symphonies – the second gets its US premiere on Monday, Feb. 13, courtesy of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. And with a nod to Valentine’s Day, the orchestra will also be playing Prokofiev’s Romeo & Juliet Suite No. 1 too. Gustavo Gimeno conducts the Toronto Symphony Orchestra featuring Samy Moussa’s Symphony No. 2, commissioned by the TSO at Carnegie Hall, on Monday, Feb. 13.
