Last week, Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the Tenant Safe Harbor Act, which extends the eviction moratorium that's been in place since March. Caroline Spivack, who covers housing for Curbed, and Marika Dias, tenant attorney and director of the Safety Net Project at the Urban Justice Center, explain what tenants should know about the new law, and why many are still pushing for rent during the pandemic to be cancelled altogether. Plus, we take call from listeners.
