A Special Book Club Announcement!

We know that New Yorkers need to feel a sense of community and fun, even as we remain apart. And that’s why we are excited to announce that the New York Public Library is partnering with WNYC to present a virtual stay-at-home Get Lit with All Of It book club experience! It’s the same “Get Lit” our listeners know and love... but now with thousands of extra e-copies of each month’s book made available for a free 3-week download!

This month’s book club selection is Deacon King Kong by James McBride.

Follow the information detailed below to get involved ASAP. And then on April 30th, we’ll be gathering everyone for a live, virtual event, hosted by The Greene Space.

Alison Stewart will talk with James McBride, we’ll take your questions about the book, and jam together with a musical performance (to be announced soon!). And maybe, just maybe, there will be a shared cocktail recipe for us all to make together... Stay tuned for that.
