Sleater-Kinney was one of the key bands in the so-called riot-grrrl movement of the 90s, and will be releasing their tenth studio album in January 2024. It will include this new single called “Say It Like You Mean It.” Founding guitarist/singers Corin Tucker and Carrie Brownstein (well-known from her starring role in the TV series Portlandia), still make hard-charging rock, although the sound these days is less raw and more textured. Sleater-Kinney's latest song is in our Weekly Music Roundup, and the video stars none other than J. Smith-Cameron from Succession and features fancy cocktails.
