Over in London, Serious is the name of an arts presenting organization that’s come up with a neat musical version of the 12 days of Christmas. Instead of filling your home with partridges and pear trees, they’re presenting what they call the Twelve Streams Of Serious – offering live access to a dozen of the live music streams they’ve produced this year. They include the Anglo-Indian drummer, composer and bandleader Sarathy Korwar, Chicago composer and cornetist Ben Lamar Gay, and London-based jazz trumpeter and beatmaker Emma Jean Thackray. Sarathy Korwar's archived stream is just one of a dozen being made available during the holiday season in the Serious organization’s Twelve Streams Of Serious.
