Robert Durst, Arrested on Saturday, Apparently Confesses During Final Episide of The Jinx

Update March 16, 2015: On Saturday, March 14, Robert Durst was arrested in New Orleans on a murder warrant issued by Los Angeles authorities. In the closing moment of Jarecki's series The Jinx, which aired Sunday, Durst said off camera “What the hell did I do?” He seemed not to be aware that he was still wearing a microphone. Robert Durst, scion of New York’s billionaire Durst family, has long been suspected in the 1982 disappearance of his wife in New York, the 2000 murder of the key witness in the case in Beverly Hills, and the subsequent murder and dismemberment of a neighbor in Galveston, Texas. Durst has consistently maintained his innocence, and remains a free man today. Durst spoke publicly about the case for the first time to Andrew Jarecki, who conducted a seven year investigation into the cases. Jarecki's six-part documentary series is The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst, which debuts on HBO on February 8 at 8PM.
