Journalist Sarah van Gelder, co-founder of Yes! Magazine, joins us to discuss her book The Revolution Where You Live: Stories from a 12,000-Mile Journey Through a New America, which details her 12,000 mile road trip through America’s red and blue states. She found ordinary people and communities working locally on global issues like climate change, economic inequality and racism.
