Responding to Hate for Hanukkah This Year
Hanukkah comes at a time of antisemitism this year, but a little bit of light can dissipate the darkness. Jane Eisner, editor-in-chief of the national Jewish news organization The Forward, talks about the anti-Semitic graffiti left in the office of a professor at Columbia's Teachers College and how communities respond to acts of hate.

@BrianLehrer regarding the Jewish discussion as relates to violence vs vandalism. I will respectfully point out krystalnacht was essentially a vandalistic demonstration.

.@BrianLehrer Must be nice for your caller to be able to remove a symbol of religion to hide her child’s Jewish ethnicity at school. Brown children never have the option. Be proud of your ethnicity caller. Send a dreidel & a menorah. Hiding only perpetuates racism.
