Remembering Anne Saxelby

In 2021, Anne Saxelby, owner of the pioneering Saxelby Cheesemongers, died at the age of 40 due to a heart condition. Her husband, Patrick Martins, founded the Anne Saxelby Legacy Fund in her honor. The Fund raises money to sponsor apprentices to stay on a farm and learn about their farming methods and making cheese in a sustainable way. Martins, who is also the co-owner of Heritage Foods USA, joins us to discuss the upcoming Anne Saxelby Legacy Fund Annual Benefit, happening tomorrow night at Chelsea Market.
