Not only is he one of the most popular film music composers in India, he’s also that rare Bollywood figure who’s made it big here in the States too. You may remember his Oscar-winning score to Slumdog Millionaire, and Rahman won a second Oscar for this song from that movie, the song called “Jai Ho.” A. R.
