Liza Long, author of the viral blog-post "I am Adam Lanza's Mother" and now The Price of Silence: A Mom's Perspective on Mental Illness (Hudson Street Press, 2014), talks about her family's struggle to deal with her son's mental illness, and what she thinks needs to be done to help lessen the stigma for children and families with mental illness and ultimately help change the system for the better.
