The Politics of Vaccines

The Brian Lehrer Show | Feb 6, 2015

Potential 2016 candidates are weighing in on the measles outbreak and on whether vaccinations should be mandatory.

We'll check in on what the pack has said about vaccinating their own children, what responsibility parents have, and how safe immunizations are with Martha Moore, national politics reporter for USA Today, and Irwin Redlener, president of the Children's Health Fund. Redlener is also professor of pediatrics and director of the National Center for Disaster Preparedness at Columbia University.
