No matter how much you enjoy the excitement and the fast pace of life in New York, sometimes you need a break. That’s why New York Public Radio’s classical music station, WQXR, has started the series called Beginner’s Ear – a lunchtime set of guided meditations with live music performances every Friday at 12:30. Tomorrow's performers include the gifted pianist, Lisa Moore, who performs works by Julia Wolfe, Philip Glass, Hannah Lash, and others at 12:30PM on Jan. 31. She's joined by Colombian composer and sound artist Julián De La Chica, with meditation led by Thomas Droge, founder of the Pathfinder Institute.

The Beginner’s Ear series of guided meditations with live music runs every Friday at 12:30 in The Greene Space through March 6, 2020.
