OK Go will forever be known as the video band. Starting with their famous treadmill video and moving on to increasingly complicated, how-did-they-do-that presentations, OK Go’s videos are among the most creative uses of the form. Now the band has released a new song and video, made while the four members were in quarantine at their homes, so they had to temper their ambitions. But as this is still OK Go, so the song manages to build up layers of sound, and the video leads to a big reveal that really speaks to our current moment. A moment of great challenge but also, as they sing, of opportunity.
