The Chicago duo called Ohmme – spelled o h m m e – consists of Sima Cunningham and Macie Stewart, two singers and guitarists with a background in experimental music but a love for loud shredding guitars. The name Ohmme – spelled o h m m e – is a play on the ohm, a measure of resistance in electricity, and the French word for man. They are taking part in the online multimedia series called Tethered, in which dancers and musicians come together to create a 15-minute dance/music film.  Ohmme performs on Wed. night, Nov. 18, with dancers from the US and Spain. Ohmme's dance/music collaboration for the Tethered series premieres Nov. 18 via the Brooklyn music venue Public Records.
