The London band Nubiyan Twist has its roots in the Afro-Caribbean jazz scene in that city, and their signature sound is a mix of soulful horns with a swinging rhythm section, but their new album, Find Your Flame, features at least one notable guest. The track, “Lights Out,” is a collaboration with the guitarist and producer Nile Rodgers, whose signature disco sound will be obvious enough that anyone who ever heard his band Chic.
