Monsieur Periné – "Tu Y Yo" (Weekly Music Roundup)
The hit Colombian band Monsieur Periné has collaborated with the Spanish singer Vanesa Martin on a dance-y new single called “Tu Y Yo,” or “You and I.” It’s a love song, but it’s also a statement of pride and defiance. The song is about having the freedom to love whomever you want, and it comes with a video, shot in Mexico City, that features well-known local gay and transgender figures but also lots of people who aren’t famous, and the people they love.
