Marc Rebillet, also known as Loop Daddy on the internet, is known for his viral, catchy, and improvisational videos he makes of himself making music with keyboards and beat machines. In the midst of his world tour, and after he released his first ever studio recorded song, "Vibes Alright," Rebillet drops by the studio to preview his September 26-29 residency at the Blue Note.
A new exhibition at the Whitney opening tomorrow celebrates the life and work of influential and pioneering artist, dancer, and choreographer Alvin Ailey. Edges of Ailey presents items from Ailey's archive, as well as live performances in the museum, including AILEY in residence. Curator Adrienne Edwards discusses this innovative show, on view through February 9, 2025.
