Louis Cato at Maplewoodstock

Louis Cato at Maplewoodstock
July 9. 8:30PM. FREE.

Louis Cato is the leader of the house band on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. You usually see him playing the guitar, but watch the show long enough and you might see him playing trombone, or bass, or keyboards or drums. Cato is also a songwriter, and in addition to his own music he’s been posting a series of Cato covers online which show the wide range of his musical tastes. Last month, Louis Cato and Late Show drummer Joe Saylor came to The Greene Space and played Louis’s song “In My Reach.” On July 9, Louis Cato headlines this weekend’s Maplewoodstock, a two day festival of free music in Maplewood, NJ.
