Past and present WNYC staff Sara Fishko, Karen Frillman, Brigid Bergin, Andy Lansett and Terrance McKnight join Brian Lehrer for a tour of key moments in New York history. We also hear historic news reports that aired on WNYC, including the earliest piece of tape in our archives of a ticker tape parade honoring Charles Lindbergh, a Great Depression-era program that lists the prices of food, Bob Dylan's first ever New York radio interview, Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia reading a Dick Tracy comic book, and WNYC journalists running toward the Twin Towers to report on 9/11.
