Living with a Stutter

The final night of this year's Democratic National Convention included a video featuring 13-year-old stutterer Brayden Harrington who described how, after meeting Joe Biden, the former vice president shared some of the things that had helped him overcome his own stutter. Peter Reitzes, a certified speech-language pathologist and someone who speaks with a stutter, talks about the impact of stuttering and some of the treatment tools that can help make speech more fluid. He is also the host and co-founder of the podcast StutterTalk.
